How Do I Meet People?

Our church is not just a place to be on Sunday morning. It is a busy place throughout the entire week. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at Westlock Gospel Chapel.

Small Groups

Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, our church has small Bible studies held in member homes. For more information on small groups contact the church office (780-349-4555).

Sunday School

Each Sunday morning during the Family Bible Hour at 11am, all children 2 years to grade 12 can participate in their own classes. There is also supervised nursery care provided for children 0-2 years. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers is carefully screened and selected, and they are excited to share Bible lessons with the children!

Ladies Bible Study

Tuesday mornings from 9-10:30am is when our ladies Bible study is held. The morning starts off with a short time of felllowship, followed by study time and ending with prayer. Topics for the study time are usually chosen together as a group. Program runs from September to May.

Prayer Meeting

Meet together for prayer at the Chapel every Wednesday at 7:00am.

Youth Group

For grades 7-12, there is lots of fun and interaction to be had at youth group! Program runs September to May every Friday from 7-10pm. A variety of events and activities are in the line-up, contact Tim Gurnett for more details (780-349-6092). Learn more about God, enjoy fellowship and don’t forget the fun!

AWANA Clubs

Men’s Ministries

Keep an eye on the calendar for men’s ministries events, such as men’s prayer breakfasts, conferences and group studies. Great opportunities to connect, encourage one another and develop as men.

Bethel Bible Camp

There are many amongst the Chapel congregation who are involved at Bethel Bible Camp, either by attending or volunteering there. Bethel Bible Camp is an entity in itself, with it’s own committee and members. For more information you can go to their website by clicking the link at the right.
